Mediocre food at reasonable prices and a good location. Staff is friendly too. Too bad they are not paying more attention to quality and taste.

Decent if you are hungry and need a place to eat. The food was good, chips were not the best and salsa needed work. Cost was comparable to places close to the beach. Atmosphere was very nice. Service was great and the staff was attentive.

Decent Mexican restaurant situated opposite the Fort Lauderdale beach. The food was amazing, we tried the Veggie Burrito, 3 Veggie Taco(in pic), Chips with Guacamole+, Jamaican Fresh Waters, Shrimp Fajitas and Corona+Magarita(amazing but don’t remember the name, in pic though) and Churritos(dough, sugar, chocolate syrup)Nice and Friendly service and great location.

Good food overall for such a casual place - tasty and nicely presented. Nice open-air atmosphere. Prices were maybe a little higher than your average Mexican place and burritos we're stuffed with lots of rice. No water by the glass - only bottles for purchase. Tip was added automatically - sneaky, but thankfully I caught it.

Really delicious, loved the fajitas, nice customer service, beautiful view. Removed one star because we ordered nachos with guacamole and they never came, which of course they didn't charged us.

Ridiculously good food and fast service. It's right in front of the beach. Try the salt aged beef tacos.Had to only give 3 because they charged us for chips and salsa that were brought to the table without us asking. They also automatically added a grauity and non-cash charge. The drinks didn't have the prices listed and were very expensive.

I got the chicken fajitas. It was really good and satisfying. The servers are nice and prompt. You get a pretty decent view of the beach while eating. I'm surprised the prices aren't higher.

Wonder Cantinas to get get your fill without breaking the bank. One thing to note is that if you pay with a card they charge 4% card fee. Still worth it if you don't have cash

Cheap food made with flavorful ingredients. I recommend the chorizo quesadillas. The cheese they use is amazing. The meat wasn’t that spicy, but the green chili sauce they offer is so good! Fast service, too!

The Tacos al Pastor were really good. I got them with corn tortillas and those were especially good, too. The service was great, the prices (especially for such a touristy area) are reasonable, and you can't beat the view of the beach. We also got the nachos supreme, which are huge BTW, and we enjoyed that as well. All in all worth visiting. I would say it's 95% authentic Mexican food, with 5% American influence (the cheese is mozzarella and cheddar). I personally prefer cotija, Oaxaca, or queso fresco but it's really not the end of the world. That's the nice thing about Mexican food, lots of variety to please every palette!

The Fish tacos were good, but I don't recomend the bloody marie (yep that's the way they spell it). It was super thin and had a tangy sweet pickle in it. Not my preference

El Taquito is my favorite place. We ate tacos and drank tequila drinks all up and down the boulevard. El Taquito is far and away the best. This place makes my soul explode with joy.

Delicious Mex food

Unforgettable place. Delicious mex food. Across the sea. Adorable crew. Friendly prices. My family will remember El Taquito for ever !

Nice and cool atmosphere outdoor seating, foods look good but a little overpriced. They add tips automatically and on final check ask you for tip again. To me it's a bad practice.Tortilla soup was horrible, tomato soup plus water and cheese. Never something that bad. Nacho was good.

Gave it a 5 because it's very decently priced, great food in an otherwise expensive location. Went there twice in the span of 3 days. Staff is very friendly too and there are TVs on all the time if you are trying to catch a game. Only negative was that we didn't realize you can smoke in the outside portion. Someone started smoking while we were eating so it ruined the back end of the meal. We quickly got the check and left. Can't reduce a star, I may have missed the sign, not sure.

Right next to our hotel and I was not surprised that it was good. All we had the corn El pastor Taco, and chicken corn tacos. The pork and chicken were delicious. It's interesting that restaurants in Fort Lauderdale do not have to display their restaurant inspection scores like they do in Atlanta. I have been to for restaurants here and have not seen one restaurant score. The staff at El Taquito had no idea either

The food is authentic and outstanding, the staff is extremely friendly and outgoing. I have eaten here several times. Great for a night out with friends and I have also dined there with my family. They catered vary well to my small children who loved the food.

1st time in Fort Lauderdale stopped for a quick bite. Glad we did! Got seated quickly by friendly host. Order came out quickly & with another friendly face. Food was very good, not your every day Mexican place. Very tasty. Highly recomend!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. The food was delicious and our service was great. Good location next to several resorts and right off the beach. The elote was fantastic along with the all the other food we ordered (I forgot what we ordered).

Food was good. Drinks were good. We had sangrias. Elotes tasted good. Food portions were decent Wished we got metal knife and fork as we were dining in for dinner. Place wasn't busy.
